Pemco is a Norwegian trading and industrial group within oil and chemicals. The Group is represented in 18 countries, and has a significant international profile. The Group has around 250 employees and its turnover is estimated to reach NOK 2.5 billion in 2006.
The Pemco Group is involved in two business areas:
The Chemicals Division is engaged in the production and marketing of car/home/leisure chemicals and in the distribution of both speciality and commodity chemicals for industrial use.
The Oil Division markets lubricants and lubricants additives to the oil industry.
The parent company, Pemco AS, has its main office in Sandvika outside Oslo, the capital of Norway. The Group has a sound financial position, and basically has Norwegian shareholders.

The Chemicals Division, or the Kemetyl Group as this division is also called, is Europe's leading supplier of car/home/leisure chemicals to the consumer market. Screenwashes and coolants are two of the largest volume products, but the portfolio comprises more than 200 different products. The products are mainly sold through petrol station networks, general retail outlets, hardware dealer chains, and car accessory chains. Kemetyl's products come in its own brands and under private labels.
Kemetyl has production facilities in Norway, Sweden and Denmark, and 3 tank terminals for raw material imports. The Group also produces substantial volumes under licence in third party facilities in several European countries.
The Kemetyl Group is also one of the largest suppliers in the Nordic region of technical alcohols and solvents for industrial use.

| Oil
In the Oil Division Pemco's business is divided between Additives and Lubricants. Additives are speciality chemicals for the production of lubricants and fuels. Although to some extent related to Additives, Lubricants focus more on finished oils and the production process.
Zenteum, a joint venture specialising in the distribution and sale of lubricating oil and fuel additives, provides a total drumming and logistics operation for Infineum in Europe, the Middle East & Africa (EMEA). Zenteum is also Infineums’ sales distributor in Central & Eastern Europe. Infineum is the world's leading developer and producer of lubricants and fuels additives.
Lubricants include the supply of finished oils, raw materials for lubricants producers, and technical services and consultancy for producers.
